50 Cent becomes executive producer of Starz BMF TV series

The American rapper, 50 Cent still enjoys good grace within the Starz firm  . It is in this capacity that television gave the green light to the rapper to become executive producer of the Black Mafia Family project.

50 Cent remains a driving force in Starz television

The 50 Cent BMF series which premiered in September is far from having its last word. Indeed, the rapper and actor will ensure the Executive production of the television series. According to the American bimonthly magazine,  Complex,  this new cinematographic work consists of eight episodes.

In addition, Complex has indicated that  LeG-Unit  Film and Television and Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions will be the producers, Shan Nicholson will be the showrunner and director and Chris Frierson will use his directing skills for the benefit of the team .

The rapper talks about the technical aspects of the project

“  The documentary series will offer an inside look at the different perspectives of everyone involved in BMF-Blowing Money Fast, ” hinted at his latest project. 

Curtis James Jackson III aka 50 Cent says he’s very open about the many projects he’s collaborating on these days. ”  BMF is a more intense version of Power for me. Power is a fictional story and it’s based on some of the things I experienced in my upbringing. It makes going into the ’90s with Raising  Kanan even easier   because that time is more like the Golden Age . The American businessman told Complex in an interview. 

He took the opportunity to defend his decision to create a screenplay about the Flores twins, who sadly denounced El Chapo  in exchange for shorter sentences.

For his part, Jeffrey  Hirsch , chairman and CEO of the channel, believes that “BMF’s success demonstrates a continued increase in demand and fan interest in the story of the Flenory brothers.”

The BMF series contributes to the great success of Starz

The available data shows that the script for the BMF series attracts an average of 6.5 million viewers per episode. This storyline tells the true story of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (played by Demetrius Flenory Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (played by Da’Vinchi) . The series has become an obvious success for  Starz , and has already been renewed for a second season, with the season one finale scheduled to air on November 21.
