A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie celebrated his 26th birthday today by announcing that he has a new prequel album in the works.
B4 A Boogie Vs Artist, a new opus pending
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie didn’t release much music in 2021. But on the occasion of his 26th birthday, the New York rapper unveiled the project’s cover on Instagram as well as a sample of a new track and announced the release date for December 10th.
Entitled B4 A Boogie Vs Artist , the project is the rapper’s first outing since Artist 2.0 in 2020, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and became the rapper’s third Top 10 in that chart. The 20-track project was very rich in featuring with appearances by Young Thug, Khalid, Summer Walker, DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, London On Da Track and two appearances by Lil Uzi Vert.
Boogie toured the country for a long time this year as part of his AVA College Tour. Unfortunately for him, he was forced to cancel a performance in November at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor after being unable to find a flight to take him to Maine. He added that after looking for a private jet, he finally found one ready for the trip, and was already about to take off when told it was too late to come. He posted a video of his boarding the jet in question, just to show his fans that he wasn’t lying at all, and said he would be rescheduling soon.
