Drake is known to be a big sports fan. When he’s not cheering on the Toronto Raptors like crazy, he sometimes
watches a match of the Canadian national soccer team. He noticed a player from FC Bayern Munich – Alphonso
Davies. This put down a spectacular solo run including a goal. Drizzy then let his contacts play.
Drake grabs Alphonso Davies’ jersey
Canada won the World Cup qualifier against Panama 4-1. Apparently, Drake (now streaming on Apple Music)
picked up the phone immediately after the game to contact winger Alphonso Davies. So Drizzy asked if he could
drop by the crew cabin. As the coach of the Canadian national team revealed, the rap star was received and
also got a jersey from the shooter of the 2-1. This moment was also captured on social media.
But why was Drake so keen to stop by the Canadian footballers in the first place?
That was probably due to the way in which the 2: 1 was achieved in the meantime.
Alphonso Davies enraptured football fans all over the world with an almost unbelievable solo run.
Starting with the enormous speed, through the artistic ball-carrying on the outside line,
to the successful completion of the goal – everything fits here. And the football world is wondering to
what extent the FC Bayern Munich player really pulled it off.
