Dr Dre appears with Paul McCarthey, one of the Beatles legends: A collaboration in perspective

Sharing is caring!

Dr. Dre is used to hanging out with the musical elite, but even the acclaimed producer is star-struck every now and then. Evidenced by his last meeting with Paul McCartney, the legend of the Beatles.

On Wednesday, December 15, the Beats By Dre mogul shared an Instagram photo of himself taking a selfie with Paul McCarteh. Both dressed casually, the two industry titans sit on a gray sofa in what could be Dre’s home. McCartney’s arm is wrapped around Dr. Dre’s shoulder as The Chronic’s brain smiles. The rapper couldn’t hold back his excitement and wrote in the caption: “  Here with one of my heroes !!! Paul McCartney is cool AF !! I’m chilling out with one of the fucking Beatles! “

A collaboration in perspective?

Dre didn’t give any further explanation as to why he was hanging out with Paul McCartney, but his fans have been waiting for his next solo album for ages. In the process Dre has hosted many hip-hop luminaries in his studio. Last August, Grandmaster Flash shared a photo of himself with Dr. Dre and made a bold statement about the project.

“GRANDMASTER FLASH & DR. DRE, ” he wrote in the caption. “Here in Los Angeles, I’m doing Disco Oasis with Nile Rogers tonight, I get a call from one of my heroes and he’s inviting me to CRIB. He takes me to the STUDIO and makes me listen to a project that will change the game! Totally amazing, we end the day with 2 hours of discussion on music, family, health and life, thank you for the invitation Dr Dre ”.

Days later, DITC veteran Diamond D revealed that he had also spent time at Dr. Dre’s studio and indicated that he had just heard unreleased tracks from the legend. He also mentioned Xzibit, Dre’s longtime collaborator, and producer Focus …

“@Drdre played about 2 hours of unreleased heat rocks for me and @xzibit today,” he captioned. “#Ondeck shouts out to @ focus3dots”.

While it is not yet known whether McCartney will share his talent with Dr. Dre, it would not be completely out of the ordinary. McCartney collaborated with Kanye West and Rihanna in 2015 for the song FourFiveSeconds , proving that the 79-year-old Beatle is ready to continually expand his horizons. Dre also just completed an album with Marsha Ambrosius titled Casablanco, which he says is one of his finest pieces to date.

A slew of Dre’s friends and peers flooded the comments section, including DJ EFN, former DJ Hurricane of the Beastie Boys and Busta Rhymes.
