French Montana reveals his rap peers are surpassing him

Sharing is caring!

French Montana is one of those artists who has cultivated and maintained a friendly relationship with just about everyone in the rap game. His albums, including the recent They Got Amnesia, are proof of this. However, it is now certain that his peers have now surpassed him.

French Montana seems convinced to be below its peers

He is well known for being close and friends with several artists in the American rap world. We find on his album They Got Amnesia, feats with stars like Rick Ross, Pop Smoke , John Legend, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Fabolous and more.

In a new interview with Ebro Darden’s Rap Life Radio show, Montana got blunt as he saw those he is friends with, reaching new heights in rap and surpassing it,

“Yeah, it’s hard. I’m going to celebrate, but for now I just want to stay on top to focus on getting some things done. What I realize about people who are affected by this stuff is that sometimes the train goes past you and you don’t even realize it. He told Ebro towards the end of the ninth minute.

French Montana then continued: “I feel like I could have been… I saw a lot of my peers who passed me and I’m like, ‘Yo, how are they doing? “”.

As Montana is open about his feelings, we learn that he has also buried old feuds, most notably the one with 50 Cent. During his campaign to promote “They Got Amnesia,” the rapper stopped by the Drink Champs podcast and revealed that he was done resenting 50 Cent. All thanks to the latter’s STARZ Black Mafia Family series.
