Nick Cannon Show : Ja Rule chante « Put It On Me »

Nick Cannon hosted a hip hop legend yesterday on his ‘Nick Cannon Show’. His guest is the author of the very famous title “Put It On Me”.

Ja Rule, since that’s him, shared Nick’s set around questions about his career and the news.

More than 20 years of musical career. During his time on the show, Ja Rule recalled some memories of his early days in the world of American hip-hop.

Among other things, he talked about the days of Murder Inc and how he wrote some of his most famous hits. He also pointed out that he wrote for Mariah Carey , Jennifer Lopez and many others. When asked what the purpose of all this was, rapper Ja Rule had a simple answer.

“I’m not even going to lie, Nick. We improvised. We were just happy to be in the game. We were hip-hop students. ” did he declare. At the end of the interview, he gave the public a very nice performance of his song “Put It On Me”.

Recall that this song is one of the titles of his second album Rule 3:36, released on October 10, 2000. “Put It On Me” was originally a feat between Ja Rule and Lavita Raynor of Murder Inc. Later, he will be remixed with Lil’Mo.

A year after the album’s release, Ja Rule’s “Put It On Me” video was nominated for “Best Rap Video” at the 2001 MTV VMAs. The following year, 2002, the same title won two BMI Awards in the categories “Urban Music” and “Pop Music”.
