Jazmine Sullivan has apologized to fans who were unable to purchase tickets for her upcoming tour

This weekend, Jazmine Sullivan posted a statement of apology to fans on Twitter, after tickets for her tour were bought by resellers.

Jazmine protests against the dealers

Some people in the world have no other concern than increasing their profits. This appears to be the case with the resellers who took over the sale of Jazmine Sullivan’s tour tickets. Tickets for the Heaux Tales Tour went on sale on Friday, but within minutes many sites were sold out. After fans started to complain on Twitter, the artist took the time to address the situation via her Instagram Story. “I want to address what’s going on with my tour tickets. The reality is, it’s ordinary people who bought tickets and resell them for a profit, ”Sullivan wrote in a post to his Instagram story. “It is not good but it is what is happening”.

According to Jazmine, her team has no control over ticket purchases because they “don’t know these people.” However, Jazmine clarified that these resellers are the reason that the theaters in seven cities were swapped for larger spaces. Jazmine and his team plan to give more tickets to his fans. “I just felt like I had to say something because I hate to see my true fans upset and unable to buy the tickets they are waiting for,” Jazmine wrote “  I just felt I had to say something because I hate to see my true fans upset and unable to buy the tickets they were waiting for. “

On social networks, anger is roaring

Anger seems to be the collective sentiment on Twitter after the sold-out concerts, and it can be heard. This show marked Jazmine’s return to center stage after a six-year hiatus. So fans were eager to see her rock her voice live.

“Whoever bought the tickets for Jazmine Sullivan and plans to sell them for four times the price, fuck you ,  Twitter user @ jaejay626 wrote. ”  It was I who was there when she smashed the windows on that car!” !! I gave him the crowbar !!! “ ”  No you who have purchased the Jazmine Sullivan tickets for $ 40 just to sell 200 dollars apiece. You won’t see Heaven, ” wrote Twitter user @kaedanea.

While there isn’t much Jazmine can do, she appeared to apologize for the unfortunate situation. “I’m so sorry if you couldn’t get tickets this time around, but I’ll do other shows for you, I promise,” Jazmine wrote.

Sullivan is in the midst of a year of massive success that saw her win Album of the Year and Best Female R & B / Soul Artist at the Soul Train Awards. Her latest album, Heaux Tales , released earlier this year, helped make her nominated for three Grammys.
