Snoop Dogg unites artists from around the world in the ambitious cross-cultural album Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm (Global Edition).

This massive project is a follow-up to the artist’s 19th studio album, Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm, released earlier this year, and which marks Snoop’s first release for Def Jam since being named in last June, Creative and Strategic Executive Consultant of the label.

Originally comprising 25 tracks and 32 artists, the Global Edition features 15 additional bonus remixes, ultimately bringing together 40 tracks on this new record, which is also Snoop Dogg’s first under the Def Jam Records label. Nearly 50 hip-hop and R&B artists from Universal Music Group’s eclectic catalog have come together for this opus, including Malaysian Joe Flizzow and Singaporean Yung Raja. It features a cast of leading collaborators, including Method Man, Eric Bellinger and Usher.

Malaysian hip-hop veteran and Singaporean rapper represent Southeast Asia on new edition of Snoop Dogg Presents: The Algorithm

They are joined on Algorithm Global Edition   by Grammy-nominated Canadian singer / songwriter Glenn Lewis, South African rapper Phonixthecool, Korean singer SAAY (formerly known as EvoL) and Swedish rapper Lani Mo, between others.

Snoop Dogg welcomes the masterpiece

“ALGORITHM is such a special project for me for so many reasons,” Snoop Dogg shares in a press release. “I am excited to offer this album to my fans around the world, my first under Def Jam Records. With some old friends and the introduction of some of the label’s next generation artists, we’re changing that by bringing the sentiment back to the music, ”he adds.
