Eric Holder, the alleged killer of Nipsey Hussle, was violently beaten in prison when he was to be presented this week in a Californian court.
2 weeks after the opening of the trial of Eric Holder, the man suspected of having shot and killed Nipsey Hussle in March 2019, the suspect will not be able to attend the proceedings in the coming days. The media Rolling Stone has indeed reported this Tuesday evening that the only suspect in the murder of the rapper had been attacked in prison. While he was going to his cell after a walk, around 4 p.m., Holder was indeed attacked by another prisoner. According to the testimonies collected by the journalists, this aggression would be worth to him more than a beautiful hematoma in the eye, proof of the violence of which he was the victim. As such, the president of the court confirmed that the hearing of the day was postponed, which should also happen again for several days.
A damning testimony
If Eric Holder has already pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, a woman named Bryannita Nicholson, a key witness in this case, goes against his version. The latter explains that she was with Holder the day of the murder, and that the 2 were going to the shopping area where one of Nipsey’s stores was to buy something to eat. During their ride, she claims the suspect stopped to talk to the rapper, asking if the latter had accused him of snitching. Following this, Eric Holder would have asked him to wait for him at his car, before detonations sounded shortly after. This is where the latter will return, visibly in a hurry, before asking him to leave the place and drop him off several kilometers away. Nicholson explains that she will finally understand what happened upon returning home and learning that Nipsey Hussle had been killed. 3 days later, Eric Holder will be arrested and placed in detention, although he has always denied being the author of the shots.
