Roddy Ricch Presents RIAA Diamond Plaque for “The Box” Title

We can no longer count the awards and certifications that the title “ The Box ” of the young rapper has been able to win since its release. The hit now holds an RIAA diamond plaque. While waiting for the release of his next album, Roddy Ricch expresses all his gratitude to his fans.

Winning Hip-Hop Song of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, and Best Song of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards, “The Box” was Ricch’s introduction to the world, and no. has not ceased to be all the rage since its release in 2019. 

This legendary track featured on Ricch’s debut album, “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial,” “The Box” achieved the rare combination of viral and real success. After being 8 times platinum in January 2021 and 9 times later in July, the record finally reached the 10,000,000 sales mark, earning RIAA Diamond certification. 

In a recent Instagram story re-posted by DJ Akademiks, the Compton, Calif. Rapper presented his Diamond plaque for ‘The Boxing’ amid a tide of sparklers and Los Angeles-based influencers. A timely certification.

Roddy announced last week the release of his second album, LiveLifeFast, scheduled for December 17th. In addition to the Nipsey Hussle inspired cover, Ricch also took to Twitter to thank the fans who have been supporting him from the start.
