The majority of players in the music community know that superstar Taylor Swift celebrates her birthday on December 13 . This year, on the occasion of his 32 th birthday, the singer went on social networks to celebrate it on the air of a Red single popular with fans.
Taylor Swift 32 and Alana Haim 30
The “I Bet You Think About Me” singer celebrated her 32nd birthday with a double party alongside her best friend Alana Haim. The pop stars celebrated this special day with the help of Gracie Abrams and Diana Silvers.
For the occasion, Taylor Swift posted a message on Twitter saying, “ Don’t say it, don’t say it OKAY. I say it: I feel 32 years old. And Alana is feeling 30. Don’t worry, we’ve tested everyone! Thank you very much for the birthday wishes, I love you all so much ”. The text was accompanied by a pair of photos from the party, showing the matching birthday cakes of her and Haim adorned with photos of them as children.
Gracie Abrams also attended the party . The latter shared her own selfie from the event, writing, “ Happy birthday, king of my heart, body and soul, ooo oh @taylorswift ”.
Taylor Swift: an exclusive collection and an ongoing trial
On her birthday Thursday morning, Swift also surprised her fans with a giveaway by showcasing an exclusive collection of Red-themed merchandise at Urban Outfitters. Apparently, Taylor Swift makes a habit of celebrating birthdays with Outfitters collections as was the case for the first anniversary of her album Folklore.
The exclusive line includes matching sweatshirts featuring the first line of the chorus of “I Knew You Were Trouble”. It also includes an oversized graphic tee and a T-shirt dress. The 32-year-old singer has had another reason to celebrate in recent days. Indeed, Red (Taylor’s Version) managed the feat of staying in second place on the Billboard 200 this week, behind Adele’s “30”.
However, bad news comes to darken that sky of happiness for the singer , as she learned last week that she will have to go to court. The singer is called in to defend “Shake It Off” in a copyright lawsuit brought against her by the songwriters of 3LW’s 2001 single “Playas Gon ‘Play”.
In your opinion, did Taylor deliberately plagiarize the composition of these songwriters? The outcome of the trial will edify us.
