A few weeks before his trial, Tory Lanez released a new single called “87 Stingray”. This track announces his next album “Alone at Prom” which is scheduled for release next week. More precisely on December 10th.
According to the author of “Alone at Prom”, it is an album that draws its inspiration from the 1980s. Like many of the singer-rapper’s works, this one also seems to address a theme and this time it takes its audience back decades for a retro vibe.
“I’m proud to announce the second installment of the ’80s album,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a teaser for the visual for “87 Stingray”. He announced that the clip of the latter will be available this Thursday, December 02.
Faced with speculative reports and rumors about Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting in July 2020 and her involvement in it, Tory Lanez has chosen to focus on her career.
As decided by the judge in early November, the rapper’s trial should open in the coming weeks (December 14, 2021). A decision that came after Tory Lanez’s lawyers and prosecutors failed to come to an agreement. “I am not UNABLE to do anything. They made me an offer so that I wouldn’t go to TRIAL and I REFUSED, ”he wrote in a tweet in response to the media.
