As the lawsuits multiply against him, Travis Scott remains discreet. The Astroworld tragedy has caused the music industry to re-evaluate the way they produce festivals and the Rolling Loud festival organizers recently announced that the event will be held in California and will now be aimed at audiences 18+.
Live Nation, Travis and Drake are just a handful of companies and artists who have been named in lawsuits. These lawsuits are worth billions of dollars and were initiated by relatives of those who died in the chaos, participants who were injured and even security guards at the scene. According to Travis Scott’s lawyer , the rapper contacted relatives of the deceased to offer them help.
However, since the tragedy, Travis has been conspicuously absent from social media. He was not seen having fun with his pregnant girlfriend , Kylie Jenner , which is common and he is said to have “locked himself” in his home. The public thinks he and Kylie were probably told to keep a low profile. Yet Scott eventually resurfaced on a golf course with a few of his famous friends.
According to TMZ, Michael Jordan, Mark Wahlberg, Saïd Taghmaoui (Kris Jenner’s boyfriend), Corey Gamble, and Travis Scott were spotted together in Palms Springs. This golf course would be attached to an exclusive gated community where Matriarch Jenner owns a home. It was noted that Scott looked “dark” on this outing. This is the first time Scott has been seen in public after Astroworld.
