The release date of the documentary dedicated to XXXTentacion has finally been revealed. The program is therefore broadcast on Hulu…

It’s been almost 4 years since XXXTentation is gone. An artist as talented as he was tortured, this musical genius was murdered at the wheel of his BMW one afternoon on June 18, 2018. If the years pass, his legacy remains with him. And the entourage of the late rapper continues to enrich him to the maximum, with the release of a new documentary called Look at Me: XXXTentacion . A program that a lucky handful — including 50 Cent , who posed with X’s mother and former manager — got to see premiere in Austin, Texas on March 15. For the vast majority, however, it will be necessary to wait until June 10, the date of its release on Hulu, an American subscription video-on-demand platform.(where Kim Kardashian’s new reality show is also going to air ). Sabaah Folayan is director and producer of the documentary, while Cleopatra Bernard, XXX’s mother, is executive producer. She has worked hard to bring this project to life.

A long-term job

Sabaah Folayan spoke about the symbolism that she and Cleopatra wanted to give to this documentary, as she explained in the columns of Deadline : “ We felt that after losing Jahseh so early, the best thing to do was find a way to learn the lessons of his life and try to continue his mission. “In his music, XXX has repeatedly addressed the mental health issues that have plagued him for most of his life. A theme on which the 2 women wanted to emphasize : “While he struggled with his mental health issues, he was also fighting to democratize those ailments, and getting people to find support and seek treatment. He was very introspective. And I think even though you never know what’s in a person’s head, there was an authenticity to him that you could really feel and see in that introspection.
