Memphis rap legend Yo Gotti previously announced that he would be releasing a double-disc album titled CM10 , featuring one side named Free and another named Game, but the release has officially been postponed indefinitely.
The rapper announced his album a day before the fatal shooting of Young Dolph , with whom he had had some trouble in the past. The album was due to arrive on November 26 as a Black Friday surprise but the release has now been postponed. “# CM10 Still Loading…. NEW DATE Stay Tuned, ” Gotti wrote on Instagram.
Many believe this postponement is decided as a sign of respect for Dolph’s family, but Gotti has not confirmed the reason.
A new date hasn’t been announced, but since the album is presumably ready for release, it probably won’t be long before we hear new music from Gotti .
As Memphis continues to mourn the passing of Young Dolph, rumors circulated last week of possible targeted shootings at Yo Gotti’s private restaurant. There was an increased police presence at the restaurant, but no shootings were reported. In the meantime, Gotti is promoting the latest releases of his artists. It features 42 Dugg’s new single, which was released today, his birthday, as well as MoneyBagg Yo’s music video for “ Scorpio, ” which also came out this week.
