Young Thug frowns on Future for inviting Ye on stage at Rolling Loud festival

Last weekend, the Rolling Loud Festival was held in Los Angeles. The event was punctuated   by various enticing programs crowned by the presence of many hip-hop stars. Kid Cudi and Future were there and while one paid tribute to his late friend, the other preferred to invite another superstar to join him on stage. This move from Future apparently didn’t please everyone, and Young Thug didn’t fail to notify him.

Ye on stage alongside Future at the Rolling Loud fest

During his set at last weekend’s Rolling Loud Festival , Future invited first Hotboii, then Roddy Ricch for the interpretation of their collaboration. The one none of the spectators expected to see was Kanye West, who during the same period performed alongside Drake at the Free Larry Hoover Benefit concert.

The interpreter of “Donda” performed a beautiful performance of at least ten minutes by resuming flagship singles with Future. He even performed a freestyle on “F * ck Up Some Commas” . If this surprise delighted fans, others close to Future are not of the same opinion.

Young Thug thinks Future has done wrong

Young Thug has been one of Future’s closest collaborators for years. More than that, he’s also a close friend of the rapper and he has spoken out about including Ye in Future’s set . While joking, he asked her to consider making room for others to make history .

Exactly, he writes this: “U dead ass wrong for this @future” on Instagram, sharing a photo of Ye and Future on stage together . “Let someone else do this lol u goated bastard,” he added. Thus, it should be understood that according to Thugger, Future was completely wrong in inviting Kanye West on the stage of Rolling Loud, because the latter is already popular.

The point is that Ye presents himself as a Hip-hop veteran who has nothing more to prove and who is already in the history of the musical genre. So Thug would like Future to let another rapper make history, for once.

Clearly, Young Thug is only joking with Future and there is no problem between them. However, he clearly wanted this moment for himself or for another rap star of the current generation. He certainly feels that Future has done enough to establish himself as one of the all-time greats.

Future might not need Ye to get the crowd to react. However, the two rappers joined forces for an iconic moment during another Rolling Loud that will be remembered. It’s likely that next year, at this festival in Miami , Ye will have a headlining spot . If that happened, then it would be in part thanks to his appearance on the scene this year.
